ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST
Will is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families of all ages.
Before joining Serene Pathways, Will worked at a University Counseling Center helping university students who experienced anxiety, depression, OCD, childhood trauma, and adjustment challenges. Prior to working in the mental health field, Will worked as an educator, serving in various roles including as a middle school teacher, university administrator, and adjunct professor.
He is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families to strengthen each client’s understanding of themselves and their relationships to others. His therapeutic interests include working with clients experiencing life transitions such as becoming a parent, difficulties in interpersonal relationships, inner-child exploration and healing, as well as working with older adults.
Will operates from a Client-Centered perspective, incorporating humanistic, Gestalt, solution-focused, CBT, and mindfulness techniques when appropriate. This perspective means that he helps his clients explore their current challenges and strengths, their therapeutic goals, and then works together with clients to achieve those goals.
Will received his Master’s in Marriage and Family from the University of La Verne and also holds a Master’s Degree in Education.
