Monica (she/her/hers) is a dual licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Her experience is diverse and includes folx of all ages and backgrounds, such as the often-underserved families of cultural minorities, families navigating the legal system, and, most recently, working intimately with young adults in a university setting. 

Monica believes that you are the expert in your life and have reliable skills and experiences to get you through with the proper support systems in place. She is eclectic in her therapeutic interventions and theory as she focuses on centering the client at every session.

She earned her master's degree in Counseling Psychology from National University and her BA in Ethnic Studies at UC San Diego.
