ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

Lisa has experience working in private practice as well as for non-profits. She has helped individuals, couples, and families working through a wide variety of issues, and across a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, and differences. 

She is passionate about helping all types of clients grow and develop, and in session, supports them through active listening, mindfulness, and loving-kindness. She seeks to bring about acceptance and authenticity in individuals’ lives and is LGBTQIA+ affirmative. Her therapeutic technique is eclectic but uses client-focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and narrative therapy. 

Lisa Sledd received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, and B.S. in Biochemistry, from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX. Lisa is supervised by Doris LeBoeuf, LMFT.
