ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

Elexus has experience working in public schools and a non-profit in Southern California. She has helped and supported students, individuals, couples, and families across different forms of hardships. Before joining Serene Pathways, she completed her practicum at a non-profit organization providing support for those experiencing medical trauma and hardship. She has experience working with those who have experienced domestic violence & intimate partner violence, substance abuse, medical trauma, systematic injustice, self-esteem, and relational and family dynamics. 

Using aspects of Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and multiculturalism, she helps clients work through difficult emotions and situations. Elexus offers genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to help clients feel secure enough to share and work through what they are experiencing. She believes in working collaboratively with clients to find ways to deal with mental health concerns and the stressors of life. Elexus aims to help her clients live fulfilling and authentic lives. She has a passion for working with grief and loss, betrayal, self-esteem, and other interpersonal & intrapersonal concerns. 

Elexus received her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently supervised by Doris LeBoeuf.
