ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

Christopher is a bilingual (English/Spanish) associate marriage and family therapist, offering sessions in either language. He has most recently worked with children, adolescents and adults in an outpatient LA county department of mental health agency.  Christopher takes pride in his work in assisting neurodivergent children/teens in their academic settings to improve social and academic skills. He has also worked with veterans, couples and adults in an outpatient telehealth based agency.

Christopher has assisted clients in addressing depression, anxiety, trauma and acculturation issues with his experience in CBT, IPT and solution focused therapy. His experience in having a blue collar career in the past has been a connection point with many of his clients struggling with burnout and occupational stress. With an interactive holistic approach, his style reflects the needs of the client from warmth to providing clear feedback. He takes great pride in being affirming and culturally competent. Christopher is certified in Interpersonal Psychotherapy, which assists in processing grief, relationship/family issues and major life changes.

Christopher is a local of Los Angeles. Christopher received his M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy & Professional Clinical Counseling from Brandman University and has also received his B.A. in Psychology from Brandman University in 2019. 

When not assisting clients to heal and live epic lives he can be seen going on adventures with his multiple dogs; gardening and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.
