Brittney Lagrave
ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST
Brittney takes a holistic approach by integrating mindfulness, somatic work and a trauma informed framework. Having a holistic approach allows her to better understand the needs of her clients by focusing on the mind and body connection.
She has experience working with children, families, individuals and couples. Her experience working with a diverse population has given me the ability to understand the impact our relationships have on us.
She uses a collaborative approach while incorporating aspects of emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and attachment theory.
She believes that incorporating these frameworks gives clients the ability to heal from experiences throughout their lives while also adapting new tools.
Brittney has worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship distress, and PTSD.
She is particularly passionate about working with parents and their transition to parenthood. Giving birth and becoming a parent is a life changing event and parents deserve to have a safe place to explore any new feelings or emotions that may come up.
Brittney received her bachelors in psychology from the University of La Verne and her masters degree from Alliant International University.
