Bree Wiles
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Bree is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a rich background spanning over a decade in the mental health field. She received her masters from the USC and BA in sociology and LGBTQ+ minor at UCSB. Throughout her career, Bree has engaged with queer youth across diverse environments, including in the medical field, providing therapy, working with various GSA’s, and collaborating with countless organizations. She has been instrumental in developing inclusive programs within institutions and agencies, aiming to improve the quality of care and support available to LGBTQ+ youth.
A sought-after speaker at national conferences, Bree addresses the critical intersection of mental health, self-harm. Her impactful LGBTQ+ trainings have equipped numerous healthcare professionals, social workers, and educators across prestigious institutions such as UCLA hospital, non-profit organizations, and various school districts. She provides individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as DBT, CBT, and Mindfulness, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care, and the holistic integration of the mind, body, and spirit. Her clinical expertise lies with LGBTQIA+ youth ages 12-25 coping with depression, self-harm, anxiety, grief and loss, identity exploration, and life transitions.
She remains steadfast in her commitment to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for the individuals and communities she serves. She is committed to dismantling oppressive systems, aiming to forge a world rooted in equity and profound conscious awareness of how systemic inequality shapes individual lives. Fueled by a belief in the collective healing and transformative power of compassionate support and inclusive practices, she seeks to empower individuals to reclaim their boldest, bravest, and most authentic selves, guiding them back to their true essence. She aims to catalyze a ripple effect of empathy and action, contributing to a more inclusive and supportive society for LGBTQIA+ youth and the mental health field everywhere.
