Cirse (Sear-Say) is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed marriage and family therapist, offering sessions in both English and Spanish. She is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s in Human Services and a Master’s degree in Counseling. She has experience working in community mental health, where she has worked with clients of Latinx descent and of other cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She has experience working with all ages and is comfortable with individuals and families. She enjoys working with clients to explore acculturation challenges that may contribute to relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions. Additionally, she enjoys supporting individuals on their journey toward parenthood. She appreciates individual differences and collaborates with clients to respect their needs and cultural values. She utilizes an integrative approach with clients, depending on their needs. However, she enjoys using person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt, mindfulness, and structural therapy. She likes to meet clients where they are, as they are the experts of their life. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and work towards healing. Furthermore, she is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Seeking Safety, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Culturally Informed and Flexible Family Based Treatment for Adolescents (CIFFTA). Change is the constant certainty in life and life has numerous challenges, but the potential for resilience and strength are tremendous with each life experience.
